VELA Tango 100 with arthrodesis seat is a chair with a two-part, adjustable seat surface designed for people with amputated legs or stiff hip joints.

  • Users with for example reduced mobility in the hips, stiff legs, and users who have amputated legs.
  • The independently adjustable arthrodesis panels mean that the seat surface can be adjusted and adapted to the individual user and the specific situation. The panels make it possible to sit with an open hip angle.
  • Has an arthrodesis seat as standard (B:44xL:44 cm) and a Y backrest (B:37xL:30 cm)

VELA Tango 100 with Coxit seat is a mobility chair designed for people with e.g. leg amputation or stiff hip joints.

The chair supports the user in daily activities at home or at work as well as in rehabilitation and training. The chair stabilises the user and makes it comfortable to be seated for many hours.

The independently adjustable arthrodesis split seat can be adapted to the individual user and the specific situation. The flaps on the split seat allow the user to sit with an open hip angle – an advantage for users with reduced mobility in the hips, stiff legs, as well as users with amputations.

The seat and back are ergonomically shaped and provides excellent support, stability and comfort for the user. Users who use prosthetic leg can avoid squeezing the leg between the prosthesis and the seat.

The chair’s unique central brake ensures that the chair stands still when sitting down or getting up. The brake creates a stable work place and reduces the risk of losing balance when the user needs to move to e.g. another chair.

Plenty of legroom allows the user to ”walk” the mobility chair. The user becomes more mobile and self-reliant and can get around without assistance.

VELA Tango 100 with Coxit seat, with an adjustable seat, is suitable for training and rehabilitation. With both flaps down, the short seat makes space for the user to freely move the legs, e.g., when cycle training*.

Phoenix is a quality textile from Camira in 100% polyester. Its wear resistance is 100,000 Martindale, and it is characterised by an excellent resistance to wear, breathable and comfortable.

Clean with a clean, wrung-out cloth, possibly with pH-neutral soap.
