For example, Lilly now finds it much easier to get around in her own home, particularly in her kitchen, after being given the right arthritis aid.
Lilly’s arthritis has resulted in her having disabilities in her back, shoulders, hips and knees. Furthermore, she is a short woman of 142 centimetres, which means she has difficulty finding a proper working position that is also safe for her.
Lilly spends much of her time in the kitchen, where she also eats her food. There’s not much space in her kitchen, so she usually relies on her rollator when she needs to move around.
It has been physically hard to cope with all everyday tasks with spinal arthritis, but it has also been mentally challenging.

After Lilly got her VELA chair, cooking with arthritis has been easier to do and deal with. The chair is always ready for her in the kitchen, where she uses it for all kitchen work. But she also uses it at the dining table, where she enjoys sitting and crochet.
Now I enjoy cooking for several days at a time, and it makes a world of difference that I can peel the potatoes myself. A good diet is important when living with arthritis – and doing the work also builds up an appetite.
Now Lilly can continue to do the things that give her energy and which she has loved doing all her life – despite her arthritis.
Lilly’s children pushed the issue of getting Lilly help, and she is very grateful for that. She is the type of person who prefers to handle things herself and won’t ask for help or want to be to any inconvenience.
