VELA is Denmark’s Best Workplace 2025
In April 2025, VELA was named “Denmark’s Best Workplace” by Great Place to Work. The award recognises our strong culture, high employee engagement, and outstanding wellbeing across the organisation.
On Thursday 3 April, we received a truly special recognition: VELA was named “Denmark’s Best Workplace” in the 49–499 employee category. The ceremony took place at Falkoner Hall in Frederiksberg and was hosted by the certification and workplace culture organisation Great Place To Work®️.
Behind the award lies a thorough and independent employee survey focused on job satisfaction, company culture, and team spirit. And the result speaks for itself: 98% of VELA employees say it’s a great place to work.

For the second year in a row, VELA is ranked among Denmark’s top three workplaces for seniors. After winning the award in 2024, we are proud to be finalists again in 2025 – a testament to our focus on wellbeing and development across all ages and experience levels.
90 years of people-focused design
This year also marks a special anniversary: 90 years since Vermund Larsen founded the company with a vision to design furniture that enhances quality of life.
